Two great ways to be part of the Glendale Model Railroad Society: become a member or visit an Open House.
Become a Member
Since 1949, the Glendale Model Railroad Society (GMRRS) has been a home for model building, railroad history, and community. Members help build and operate our HO-scale Verdugo Valley Lines, share skills, and keep Southern California railroading history alive.
- Build & Operate: Track, scenery, electronics, operations nights.
- Learn & Share: All experience levels welcome—mentorship included.
- Community: Make friends, run trains, and contribute to public Open Houses.
- History: Help preserve and interpret local railroad heritage.
Who can join? Adults and responsible teens (with guardian). No prior experience required—just curiosity and willingness to pitch in.
Time & Dues: We keep dues affordable and flexible. Stop by an Open House or contact us for current details and how to get started.
